A dragonfly loved to warm its wings on the water lilies.
Every morning, it chose a new island.
It had no idea that two little eyes were already watching.
The frog imagined she was a crocodile.
Only her eyes rose above the water.
Not a ripple.
Not a wave.
She moved forward ever so slowly.
Just a few more inches…
Just one more…
Then…
SPLASH!
The dragonfly had already flown away.
The frog landed back in the water, splashing every water lily around her.
The fish burst out laughing.
“You’ll see tomorrow!” she shouted before disappearing beneath the water lilies.
